Ilana Simons is a literature teacher in New York. She received her PhD in English from NYU this year and has a short story forthcoming in In Posse Review. She has published poetry in Chain and Porcupine. She has also published over 70 journalism pieces on city life and several academic book chapters on British Modernism.
