Spent by Lisa Kaitz

snarled skin in lipstick corner

eyes encrusted black

tousled tweaked matted down

foundation prone to crack

breast bulge under wire pulled

sweat stain bled the map

six teeth of zipper jawed and popped

pulled off from the lap

fuzzy fruity vapor breath

swirling tender head

broke in crystal smithereens

at the soft foot of the bed

coleslaw brain spaghetti legs

skin as stale as water

tarted tongue recoiled sour

poised as flea or fodder

lacquer chipped on protein tips

white drip drizzled throat

daughter once and mother twice

spent was all she wrote
