Misha Firer was born in 1979 in Russia. After serving in the Israeli Army he moved first to New York, then to California. He currently resides in Oakland. This year he published more than twenty short stories online and in print, in Vestal Review, Word Riot, BIG News, Slow Trains, Nuvein and other magazines.
