Tara Cullen is a graduate student in public policy and lives in New Jersey. After many years of living in New York City, she packed up her bus map, donated her Metrocard to charity and bought a car. The commuting difference she’s learned is that motorists in traffic do not allow you to peer into their cars the way that subway riders will allow you to try to decipher the book that they are reading. Saying things about the city being ”all hype”, “egotistical”, and “pretentious” are merely coping mechanisms. |
Etc.
